Brandenburg SoloistsThe Brandenburg Choir Established by Artistic Director Paul Dyer in 1999 to perform in the first-ever Noël! Noël! Brandenburg Christmas concert,The Brandenburg Choir has become nationally renowned for its exquisite vocal blend, superb technical virtuosity and powerfully emotive delivery. Originally comprised of only 13 members, the Choir has expanded to 32 voices and now regularly joins forces with the ABO throughout the annual subscription series, in addition to the sell out Noël! Noël! series in churches and cathedrals across NSW. Noted for its distinct vocal texture, The Brandenburg Choir comprises Soprano, Male Alto, Tenor and Bass voices and is often joined by up to 40 boy trebles to produce a truly unique sound. With a repertoire ranging from 11th Century medieval chant to renaissance madrigals and carols from around the world in their original settings and languages, The Brandenburg Choir has forged an impressive reputation that has in turn attracted some of the finest voices to its ranks. The Choir now reaches thousands of listeners nationally through ABC Classic FM broadcasts and its critically acclaimed album, Noël! Noël!
