By leaving a bequest in your will
The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra is the country’s finest baroque orchestra. Our mission is to enthuse audiences by presenting the highest quality baroque and early classical music, interpreted through period instruments, retaining the freshness and vitality of an original as if heard for the first time. To do this every year, the Brandenburg relies on the support of businesses, governments and individuals, just like you.
The Brandenburg performs before a live audience in excess of 40,000 people annually in Sydney and Melbourne, and hundreds of thousands more through national radio broadcasts on ABC Classical FM. It also tours nationally and has a regular commitment to performing in regional Australia. Since 2003, the Brandenburg has been a member of the Major Performing Arts Group. It has won five ARIA Awards for Best Classical Recording in 1998, 2001, 2005, 2009 and 2010.
There are many ways to help the Brandenburg but one of the most valuable ways is by leaving a bequest in your will. When preparing your will, it is important to use the correct legal terminology. Please use the following wording.
“I, __________________________________ , give to the Brandenburg Ensemble Limited (ABN 41 003 908 183):
The rest and residue of my Estate or
_____________ % of my Estate or
_____________ % of the residue of my Estate or
The sum of $____________________________
free from all taxes and duties payable in respect of my death, my estate or the administration of my estate and I direct that the receipt of the Director, Company Secretary or other authorised officer for the time shall be an absolute discharge to my trustee for the gift.”
