MRC Ltd will hold in trust one of the finest acoustic spaces in the southern hemisphere.

They have carefully identified and incorporated a select range of "key presenting partners" into their planning and continue to forge significant relationships with culturally diverse organisations, including artists, ensembles and performing arts centres, across the Asia-Pacific region.

The MRC team is passionate about 'chamber' music, 'acoustic' performance and the 'handmade' ensemble traditions of many different cultures.

Elizabeth Murdoch Hall

Elisabeth Murdoch Hall's unique design is intimate, acoustically superb and features world class technical facilities. It is ideally suited to the performance of ensemble music and spoken word and features a gently raked Stalls and Circle and unique, split level side balconies, giving excellent sightlines and outstanding acoustics from all seats.

The Orchestra in Melbourne

Since it was established in 1990, the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra has been a reasonably regular visitor to Melbourne, having visited in various combinations on eleven occasions. It will be five years since the full Orchestra’s last concert in 2003, which itself followed a six-year absence.
