Message from the Artistic Director
Time stands still for no one. We cannot make a moment, but we can take a moment.
There are many people who tell me that coming to the Brandenburg is about
enjoying fantastic period music and sharing the moment with someone special:
a father, mother, partner, your mate, your girlfriend, a neighbour or group of friends.
I invite you to choose from five fabulous series – five moments of bliss!
Our irresistible line-up includes two international vocalists, the superstar
Andreas Scholl
and the stunning Swedish soprano Susanne Rydén; a magnificent
Brandenburg Choir
spectacular with 50 boy trebles; and the return of an audience favourite, the mad and
mischievous Italian, Alfredo Bernardini.
The internationally renowned bassoon star Jane Gower joins us for a Brandenburg
showcase event of secret Baroque treasures complete with three Australian premieres.
