An exciting opportunity exists to join one of Australia’s leading arts companies as a Ticketing Assistant. Working in a small and dynamic team, the Ticketing Assistant will bring to the role a high standard of verbal and written communication, natural problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
About The Role
The Ticketing Assistant role is responsible for providing excellent and effective service to the company’s audiences and stakeholders.
The Ticketing Assistant’s work is casual and most of the shifts are rostered on weekdays. Occasionally the Ticketing Assistant may be expected to work after business hours or on a weekend at a concert venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of professional and friendly customer service to all the company’s customers (subscribers, single ticket buyers, donors, VIP’s and corporate partners) over the phone, email and in person
- Establish and maintain a professional and friendly association with all external venues with which the company engages
- Assist with the set-up of the company’s reception area, kitchen and meeting rooms and general office duties
Essential for the role
- Experience in working in a ticketing environment
- Proficiency in the CRM system Tessitura
- Passion for the arts and baroque music
- Strong desire to help people
